Subject:Jane Eyre

I'm 85 and have always been enthralled at the Jane Eyre movies. I'm rereading Charlotte's book now. I'll always remember the Wuthering Heights movie with that famous English actor (whom I can't remeber his name right now!) My wife and I have three daughters, born exactly four years apart, the first in 1946. So, I'm a radical "woman's libber" and for some reason I'm on a Bronte sisters binge. I ordered their book of poems today. I can't get over that they died at 29,30 and 39!
Your web site is outstanding! Tell me about yourself.
Best wishes, Roy......

Thank you for your informative website. What a tragic family history. Can you tell us a little more about Anne, her writings. And do you know why she wasn't buried in the family vault?

Thanks again,
David and Barbara

Firstly, I would like to compliment you on a wonderful web-site
In my youth I attended Haworth school (not far from the parsonage)and at that time, the fifties,my family lived in Oakworth.I can remember (with a
tear in my eye)travelling on a steam-train from Oakworth to haworth.
I was one of twelve children,so if no funds were available,I had to
walk both ways.I return to visit Haworth every couple of years.
I am a professional sculptor, and would love to create a set of figurines
of the Brontes. On my next visit I may approach the museum towards this end
Keep up the good work, best regards
James R Done

Dearest Meredith

It was wonderful to see your site! Always a reader - thinker - tech master ... I think I remember a computer in your bathroom when you were in fifth grade :) :) and I am certain I remember your love of books and writing. Keep up the amazing work! Your site is now on my "favorites" and I will read more from home later this week.

526 members in your discussion group is impressive! And 120 messages in the last 7 days ... are you sure you aren't a t.v. evangelist :)

Please send me a small picture of you for my "Outstanding Student ... top 25" frame here at school. Otherwise, I may have to insert a Bronte sister pict :)

Much love - Ms. Kline

Meredity,

Good job on the site. As much as I like the Bronte sisters--I love Jane Austen! Those Brits really knew how to write! Congratulations on your work!!!
